UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRELIABLE American Logistics LLC is located in St. George, UTAH, and dispatches transportation services to Anthem members in California for medical appointments. On 7.15.2024, they failed the transportation for a 2:45 pm appointment, alleging the driver had a nail in a tire. I informed them I will drive myself and request gasoline expense reimbursement from them, which they rejected. They don't have backup drivers, which they should have, to prevent transportation failures. American Logistics claimed they don't do transportation, they only dispatch drivers. They have a legal liability to guarantee the transportations they "broker". They are listed as a "transportation broker" under the NPI number 1972809051 in Utah. They failed to respond to my emails, they failed to follow up on a phone call, and their fax machine did not accept my fax. I am requesting they respond to my emails, reimburse me the $ 15,-- I paid for gasoline to make it to my appointment, provide for backup drivers to guarantee transportation, and provide me with their license number entitling them to operate in Utah and California. The UDOT stated to me they don't have a license registration for American Logistics. I found no license to operate in Utah or California, neither as a transportation broker, nor any other business. It appears they operate without a license. They must provide me with their license number. Their web site does not display that information.
